Summer Recreation Camp
Summer Rec Camp 2019
The Highlands Parks and Recreation Department will begin its summer Recreation camp on Monday June 3rd and hold its first four week session until Friday, June 28th. The camp will be closed the week of Monday, July 1st- Friday, July 5th. It will reopen on Monday, July 8th and hold its second (6) week session until Friday, August 16th.
Rec Camp is open to children ages 5-12 years old. (Children must be 5 years old as of June 15th and no older than 12 years old as of August 14th, no exceptions will be made.) Camp will run from Monday- Friday, 8am-5:30pm. Drop off as early as 7:30. The camp will accept children on a drop in basis. The child must be signed in each day by a parent/guardian and have a complete registration on file. There will be three of four field trips during the summer which will require a small additional charge to cover the entry fee. Notification will be given in advance. Register at the Recreation Department.
Cost is $3.00 per hr. per child, $2.00 per hr. additional
Prepay by the week: $100 per child, $50 each additional

Little Highlander Basketball Camp
Basketball Camp will be held July 8th-11th at the Recreation Department. Ages 7-15 from 9:30am-12:30pm. The camp will be run by Coach Brett Lamb. For your convenience children ages 7-12 can join Rec. Camp for the remainder of the day at half rate for Rec Camp. Cost for Basketball Camp is $50.00. Register at the Recreation Department.
